I have spent the bulk of my existence in Denver. I love Colorado and everything it has to offer! I stupidly “ran away” to Southern California for a couple of years, but thankfully now I am back. I enjoy seasons.. You know that crazy change in the weather…. And I need snow at Christmas.. So California is fine for visiting, but I think you get my drift.
I fell into radio while completing my Speech Communications degree at Metro Sate College. I had to complete an internship and ended working at a station that played a lot of Michael Bolton. Oddly, I wasn’t scared off by that, and I have bounced all over the dial, landing happily here at 101.5FM!
I’m all about discovering new music, going to shows at the Fillmore, Ogden, Bluebird, the Gothic…. You name it! I love live music, and if I didn’t have to get up at such an ungodly hour, would go to as many shows as I could!
Besides music, I love working on my new (old) house. It was built in the 1920’s and is still in a bit of a “transitional neighborhood.. Which I love. I am all about the mix of Old and New, in pretty much everything.. Buildings, clothes, movies and so on.
